lhuchison
I was thinking of buying a 2" barlow to complement my 2" 32mm lens i use on a 8" SCT. i already own a 25, 18 ,8 mm 1.25 lenses.Do you think it would be a good direction to go? it,ll give me 16mm equivalent on a 2" lens.or will it be too like the 18mm 1.25 lens?Or will the Celestron 6.3 focal reducer fit with my 2" diagonal and be more versatile ?Thanks in advanceLeon. laser_jock99
2" eyepeices are generally best in wide angle formats (eg 32mm, 40mm & 50mm focal lengths). It does'nt make a lot of sense to 'Barlow' these as they are well covered by the 1.25" format.A 2" ED barlow can be usefull for imaging though.
