Second image fro new scope

Here's another from last night, but I'm not at all happy with this one.

Needs a lot more exposure, but as I said earlier, I'm trying to understand the needs of this new scope. At the moment, its all guess work.

M74 - 12" 200R - 3.3 FR and H9C at 10x300secs.

Thats a pretty good image Dave , yes ok so a bit longer exposure i guess , but i tell ya what , not much if any coma in that , i wonder if the 3.3 reducer would work on the C11 ,could try i suppose ,

anyway thats a nice image ,

Some of you guys are really self critical. I understand your need to come to terms with your new instrument Dave, and all I am probably doing is highlighting my shortage of image appreciation, but I can't see much, if anything, to decry this picture.

In what areas would longer exposures improve it to a satisfactory level?

I've got my coat handy if I have to leave in a hurry.

Great start with the new scope Dave, plenty showing up after 50mins.
