Skywatcher Equinox or Pro series?

Both these refractors seem to be the same except one is more expensive. Is it the build quality or elements or what? Was thinking about getting one of them for photography.

Optically they are exactly the same in the 100mm and 120mm sizes. The differences are the quality of finish and features like the sliding dew shield. I have an older (gold / cream colour scheme) ED120 Pro and I'm very pleased with it for visual use. I don't image so I can't comment on that.

The feedback on these scopes (both ranges) on other forums is very positive too

The 66mm is unique to the Equinox range and the 80mm Equinox is F/6.25 wheras the Pro is F/7.5.
