Christmas Day Observations

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! :icon_santa:

I really hope these clouds will clear up before tomorrow night! I really want to see Jupiter again, a beautiful sight right now and I can't help but have to shift the scope to it every now and then. Plus a bit of moon observing couldn't do any harm!

What will you guys be watching over the holidays?

If I get chance i am aiming to hit the moon with my newly modded webcam but also I have got M51, M101 & M109 to go for if we manage to getthe right conditions.

Having just sold my 12" dob, I'll mostly be looking at ebay and astrobuysell :)

I'll probably be up before the sun is, so in the unlikely event it's clear I'll have a look at Saturn.
