My first Horsie of the season!

Recommended Posts

Just managed to grab three frames of 300 seconds each before the clouds obliterated the Horsehead completely but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I caught:-

RGb, Lrgb or Hargb?

Mike, this was taken with my single shot colour SXVF-H9C and 10" Newtonian with a total exposure time of 15 minutes - do I hate clouds?

I think that one puts you in the lead by a short head Steve. I know, corny joke, but hell of a good photo finish. whoops!, there I go again. :D

Seriously, a very ace image.

You did very well out of 3x300sec subs at that small a FOV Steve.

A bit of breakthrough from Alnitak, just outside the FOV, but that always is a problem when imaging that object.

Very nice though!!

Dave
