One thing I can upgrade are the eyepieces - can anybody

recommend some reasonably priced eyepieces and where I might

by them? Some guy on another forum said he bought some dirt cheap

on e-bay. Can I save some cash there?

Scopes n Skies do a starter Antares set for £89 which has 4 EP's, a barlow, 8 colour filters and a camera adapter. There are other threads on this very topic in the equipment section. I (and a couple of others) have this set and find them very good, and good value for money as well. www.scopesnskies.com

Personally if you're for something decent to last i would go with the Antares Elite 25mm for low power, Antares Ortho 12mm for medium and an Orion Shorty Plus 2x barlow to finish off. About the same price as the Meade's but better IMHO.
