First pics of the moon

Hi guys!!!

Well this is the first pic i've taken of the moon, it was taken in India last month with my iphone up against my eyepiece. First picture is the original the second i've played about with using an iphone app. If anyone has any tips or hints please do tell

Hi there Hitesh

If you are taking these with an iphone they are really good. I'm quite impressed with the sharpness, usually have a little movement blurring visible. If you are using an iphone there is an adaptor available which can fix the iphone to the eyepiece to ensure a steady image. I cannot remember where I saw it but I'm sure you gan google for it.

Really good pic Hitesh - especially as it is hand held with a mobile phone!

I prefer the original as the second one looks too posterised for me, but a great first effort altogether.

Great pic. Certainly better than my first phone-to-eyepiece shot of the moon.

I too prefer the first pic.
