Power pack probs.

I am having probs with my power pack on session lasting more than a couple of hours. I am not going out to dark sites at the moment, so am having thoughts about a 12v power supply.

So, if I want to dump the battery from my power pack and replace it with a 240v to 12v transformer to supply enough power for my CG5-GT, dslr, 2 dewstraps and a synguider, what will I need?.

Can the transformer be wired in to replace the battery. If this works I will only need to connect it to a 240v supply and run all night if I want to.

Any advice welcomed.

It seems that I don't want a transformer. What I need is a 240v to 12v power supply/ inverter. Any recommendations?

Been googling. I think this is what I need. I can dump the battery and connect this to the empty starter pack until I make a proper power tank.

Any thoughts??

I'm guessing you meant to post a link in this? What did you find?
