Various testing last night , tested the new F5.9 Reducer in the C11 , looks to be very promising . because it slip into the rear of the tube and does not screw onto the rear end , it does present a small problem, it has to be spot on , dead square , else the stars will not focus pin tight , the field of view is excellent , viewing wise it is fantastic ,lovely clear sharp view, i am 98% there , just need to figure out a better way to locate it ,any way enough garble,

This image of a very small section of the NA nebula was taken with the C11 using the 6.3 reducer, HA filter used ,exposure time 1 hr 30 mins, QHY5 guiding camera and PHD guiding, very pleased with the result, this very close in work is good with the light grasp of the C11 .Subs a mixture of 3 and 4 mins ,focal length roughly F7

Cheers Ron , yes its going to be nice for once getting those small objects and also going in close on certain Nebs, to gain access to some deep detail, looking foward this year to close in on the Horse, and a wide field with long exposure ,

Cheers

Rog :D
