Bundled eyepieces

Hello,

My niece has shown an interest in astronomy so I'm getting her an SW Evostar 90, which seems to be well thought of. However, I've read that the eyepieces are rubbish. I have the original eyepieces that came bundled with my C9.25 and was wondering if anyone knew whether these were any better? They're stuck in the loft at the moment so I can't test them. I only used them a couple of times before replacing with ultimas, so don't really have much to judge them by.

Also, I'm wondering the same thing about the diagonal from both these scopes?

Anyone have experience with these?

The ones that are shipped with skywatchers are plossls now rather than the older modified achromats. They're pretty acceptable tbh, certainly good enough for a beginner at least.
