Not bad to say how close it was to a full moon.

Really couldn't see much tho, just a very faint haze.

Looking forward to trying again when the moon goes away.

I viewed M1 a few days after new moon. I was prepared for how faint and fuzzy it was likely to be but I was quite surprised by its size. It was larger than I anticipated and it certainly appears larger in the EP than the Dumbbell. I'm looking forward to viewing it again later in the month - when it's hopefully cleared the tree in our garden.

Couldn't really see anything relating to its size tonight, just too faint. I'll try it again in a couple of weeks.

Also bagged m36, 37 and 38 whilst I was in that (very) general area.

Quite a productive night all told, really enjoyed it.

That's very good indeed. I really enjoy finding new objects. Congratulations on doing this on a night which is strongly affected by the moon - quite a challenge.

nice one spec chum, had a good night mmyself jupiter was ammazing at 300x unbelivably steady sky wish i had a bit more power though could of used it tonight
