Lunar Eclipse 28 Nov 2012

Recommended Posts

Well, my wife has fed me and provided me with beer and has set me on my own to watch the lunar eclipse.

Got the scope cooling on the deck, the moon on my computer rising and my cameras ready...

Thankfully there isn't a cloud in the sky, but it's also -10 out here.

Jupiter is looking nice though, :bino2: if not overpowered by the moon.

Look forward to seeing the pics tomorrow from everyone.

No poxylips pics from me Tony. I opted not to bother, as we've a hectic bit of goings on at the moment. I did take some shots of the Moon and Jupiter over the sea though, hopefullt they'll be worth showing. I'll get to see them in a while...

I stayed out for five hours before I jacked it in. Too cold! Got some pics of the moon but nothing special.

I'm going to have to sit and give this some thought as to which avenue to persue, observing or imaging...

Just what I need, more research, lol. Still, any excuse to buy more toys.
