Finally the rain has abated , for a while at least . . . nice to get back out for some fresh air . . .

Grabbed two sets of forty frames , stacked and tweaked them all and then stacked the results for a little experiment . . .

I'm guessing we could be in for some nice Aurora from the main AR . . . not that we shall see much through the clouds . . .

1000D + ST120 + ND3.8 + 1.8 x Barlow + UHC + S/L.

1/1600s @ ISO 100 , 80/80 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp2.8.

Very nice. Lovely detail on that central AR. By the weekend I should be able to see the Sun again because the water will have risen so high that the lookout post on my ark will be above the clouds.
