Vapour Barriers - Types used

Recommended Posts

What type of vapour barrier have peole used?

Expensive breatherable or cheaper fully waterproof non-breather types.

I getting close to cladding my observatory and need to decide what to finish the outside in shiplap or maybe textured external coating

I've used the Wickes vapour barrier primarily because I intend running a small dehumidifier in the obsy once I get the electrics and other bits sorted.

I used Wickes vapour barrier as well.

I also have a cheap Aldi dehumidifier running in the corner of my obs.

Are you running the dehumidifier in the obs or is it boxed outside and plumbed through into the obs??
