Afocal Camera Adapter/Mount

Any recommendations? I have a decent camera (olympus XZ-1 - nice bright lens), but it's not an SLR so it's afocal for me. I could actually attach an adaptor and step down rings but that seems like a long way round to get the same effect as an adaptor, and wouldn't I then need EP's with a screw mount where the rubber eyecup sits?

I appreciate this setup will only get me so far, but I like to play

Yes you would, although you used to be able to get an adapter which fitted over the eyepiece and provided the thread, but it is MUCH better arrangement than using one of those afocal adapter mount things. If you have a threaded lens I would always try to screw it to the eyepiece (assuming it is not too heavy!). Hyperion eyepieces come ready threaded I think.

I agree with Nigel and would try to get an adapter that will enable you to screw the Olympus straight onto the EP. That way you will always have in line with the optical train.
