Hi all

This is a first light image taken with my C11 since modifying it. I wanted to add mirror locks and also flock the tube, The mod was carried out after having seen the excellent article in the november issue of astronomy now magazine which describes how to do this.

Anyway this is a luminance image of ngc891 shot saturday night 17/11/12 conditions were very damp with lots of moisture in the air. I had to have the hairdryer at the ready, I shot 25x360 seconds through an atik 314l+ a baader luminance filter and a celestron 6.3 FR giving a focal length of 1760mm. I've still got to do a bit of fine tweaking but happy with the results so far.

Thanks for looking
