According to scope nights, it's cloud or fog or both all week. Hoping for a clear night over the weekend, but I'm not gonna hold my breath....

For Scarborough, it looks like Friday night will be solid cloud. Definitely worth keeping your eye on how the situation develops for Saturday night though. Looks like a band of cloud will be clearing east overnight with a clearer patch following behind (Sunday looks like being sunny (but cold) day on the east coast, but there may be showers in the west). Obviously the timing on when the cloud clears west will be critical and is impossible to say at this point. Check the forecasts to get the lastest on when the cloud might clear through and check the satellite images to see how clear it will be after it does. If you're keen you might consider getting some sleep Saturday evening and then getting up for midnight - not sure when the first grazers might show.

Saturday night into early Sunday morning should be the best time with Leo coming over the horizon after midnight. They are predicting a second peak on the 19th as well so any clear night into the early hours over either side and through the weekend should be worth a look.

I think there is a smaller peak on the 19th while the main shower is decreasing and then a bigger peak on the 20th but that's at about 5:30 am UT which isn't great for us.
