M33 reprocessed LLRGB workflow

Hi

I took this image on 2011. Now I followed Scott Rosen's video on processing using the DSLR-LLRGB processing workflow and the difference is stunning!

You can see the first version here: http://flic.kr/p/as1kMZ

And the reprocessed version here: http://flic.kr/p/dsTkec

Scott's workflow is here, for anyone interested: http://www.astronomersdoitinthedark.com/dslr_llrgb_tutorial.php#Introduction

Thanks to Scott for posting that video!

What do you guys think about the difference? Both images were post-processed after the same stacked and preprocessed image.

Best regards

Well, thanks everybody for your comments.

I really like more the second version since the color balance is kept (first one had a green and blue cast). I think it is a little over smoothed.

Like any New technique, there are a few things to adjust. Nevertheless I'm satisfied with the result.

Best regards

Alfredo
