Best M31 so far

Finally I have managed to get some detail in M31. the core is blown but at least I can see and make out the dust lanes.

x5 5 minute subs + x1 20 min & some darks and Bias.

light pollution is awful...streetlight next to back garden in an urban estate.

Have you tried to increase the saturation to get a bit of color

Both images look good to me, so well done.

Being at the early stages with this object myself I am starting to appreciate what a long road this is. What you have done is far better than my efforts which I have not yet dared to offer for comment......

Better than what I've got so far, new guide cam arrived today so, fingers crossed for next clear sky and have a go, only tried unguided so far.

Out of interest, what did you use for post-processing?? I've got PS which is a whole learning curve on its own, the rest of my setup will be pretty much as yours, other than my cam is a Canon 1100D
