Camera Orientation Co-ordinate System

Hi Guys

Because i am bored & because i take my CCD off my scope when i know there will be a drought of clear nights i started thinking about ways to mark my scope so the camera orientation would remain the same.

It also occured that for those shooting objects over multiple nights or people who want to go back to re-shoot a target down the line it might be helpful for framing the object, i tend to make notes when i shooting an object so im going to start recording the camera orientaion as well.

so this is what i came up with.

Neat idea! I might try something similar, though with the ring attached to the end of the drawtube on my Meg72

I used the T-Adaptor because both my DSLR & My CCD attach to that. I just wanted a point of refrence for my camera's orientation.

I just updated it so there are 5 degree markers on the barrel & put the right angle markers (0,90,180,270) in red so they were easier to see.
