Nice fighter jet light show last night

While out getting a look at some free fireworks from the garden last night I noticed a pulsating red light moving across the sky, I thought it might be a lantern to start off with but then it started moving horizontally too fast for that, then another appeared and they started chasing one another around the sky. Probably the usual electronic warfare stuff that they do a lot of around here, I just don't usually see or hear them at night (there was the usual high altitude jet plane roar in the background).

Cracking clear night, but all the smoke from the fireworks and bonfires put me off getting the scope out.
