M77 - rarely imaged galaxy in Cetus

Do not think it's imaged often. Here is my try on it though it's quite small even for 2m scope,

I don't think I'd call any Messier object rarely imaged - but well done on a fantastic pic. I assume you mean 250mm scope rather than 2m. Visually the galaxy can be seen in binoculars or a small scope, having a very bright central region. But I'm not aware of the very large surrounding halo having been observed visually.

That's rather lovely. It's a tricky visual object, I found, so always nice to see images of it.

By 2m I thought you were referring to the focal length. Is that correct?

Looking at the image details I think that I am. The RC10 has a focal length of 1970mm according to the data there.
