Top notch in all ways....great capture and excellent processing. I agree with Olly....one of, if not the best, DSLR image I've seen.

Controlling the mount with a planetarium program, make test shots and compare them with the planetarium software.

The VDB catalog was published by Sidney van den Bergh in 1966 and contains reflection nebulae which are visible on prints of the Palomar Sky Survey.

Love it. That it was done with a DSLR is fantastic and a stark reminder to newbies that cranking up the ISO is usually a bad idea.

Yes your right lol. I can see a some dust bunnies and hot pixels but no neb's. Amazing!
