Tom OD
This was a bit of an experimental shot. I figured that the object is a bit small for 530mm, so i decided to go for some background dust, and add in Ha while the moon was rising early in the mornings. This is a central frame crop of the Atik 11000 and FSQ106N. LHaRGB 23.5 hours in total (7.5:7:3:3:3).The Ha did nothing to the pinkish areas in the nebula, they were already well picked up with the Red data.Tom. Mike Hawtin
Nice one Tom, funnily enough I made a start on the same subject last night but high thin cloud spoiled my subs. Better luck tonight maybe, hope it turns out as well as yours.

Good point Mark, I star reduced the Lum layer in PI but think my mask only got the smaller stars. Never did a Star min in PS when I as finishing the pic. I'll go do that.
