Here's mine, sitting on my Lyra F11 ...had a lovely view of the Pleiades through the Carton with a 19mm EF Lyra optics eyepiece, got all the main stars in the field..

I have previously posted on SGL some drawings of Mars done with my Skylight 60mm F16.7 Carton at x167.

Hi Dave what size of guide scope rings did you use to attatch the 60mm , I have just done the same with smallest I could find but the screws are not long enough to get to the tube

thanks for the heads up on the Vega optical double Dave. It's easily visible in my 6" f11 at about 3x the distance from Vega as Polaris B is from A so this seems about right. quite obviously blue.

Hi Gordon,

I think the rings were 125mm Internal diameter, with long screws deldrin tipped to allow scopes from about 50mm diameter to be firmly held. Don't know what brand they are, sorry, I bought them used on UKABS.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I think Carton made scopes that were sold under a number of other brand names, including Tele Vue. Congratulations on your scope !

It's nice you have the EQ Mount, mine has the Alt/Az and its very flimsey, which doesn't do justice to the scope.
