washed baader optical wonder cloth?

I noticed the lovely shiny blue microfibre cloth that came with Baader Optical Wonder cleaning fluid was getting greasy and dirty, so following the washing instructions and popped it on a 40 wash with teh rest of my clothes and drip-dried it.

Now it's dull-looking and much less silky than before. Anyone else tried this and what did you find?

Would there be anything wrong with using the cloth again?

I would expect that the conditioner has effected the microfibre.

Try rewashing with a non bio powder and without conditioner.

How come sandblast? :shock:

Sandblasting will make texture on the lenses., which is used to photograph the moon-crater faced models.

Washing the fabric in medium hot water and mild liquid handwash does fine job.

I use Chamois leather to clean lenses. It is the softest sheet of leather and a softest cloth around in the photography field.
