Replacing SW focuser rubber grips.

Horrible little strips of Chinese thin rubber, after a while they disintegrate. Grab and old bicycle tyre ( hopefully not with the bike still attached).

Have a good look at the tyre and cut a strip wide and long enough to do the job. Round the rim, you can often get a ridged section. Paste on some Araldite and put in place, hold with elastic bands for 24 hours and done, neat,

I used O rings but they didnt lasy more than 18 months
