i missed it as well. i was out observing but went in to make a brew

I missed this one, but the reports remind me of one other I saw about 15 years ago.

One object moving slowly from east to south, very bright reminded me of the full moon, split in two about half way then just faded rapidly. Total time was about 10 seconds. Viewed through very thin cloud, I think I may have been the only one to see it as it was a generally cloudy night.

Sounds like this one was even more impressive.
