Im well aware some galaxy's responed better with certain Bands and Neb's with others. So im looking in (i hope) the right direction of H-Alpha .Which H-Alpha filter whould be best to start me off ? 35nm or 7nm ?As a broad brush stroke if you could buy only one which would it be ?Many thxNick
Earl
I would get the 7nm as you will probably just replace the 35nm later on.
JacobvonChorus
I have a 7nm Baader Ha, it is excellent. I currently use it with my DSLR, and it does a great job at cutting out everything but the Ha, this means no light-pollution. I can't wait to see what it will do with a mono CCD once I get one.Jacob
