Starman
Hi all, Here's my first ever image of this beautiful region of the sky. This is a manual combination of two images (300s + 600s) using a Borg f/4 Astrograph (76mm). The field of view of this instrument is immense and, as you can see, has almost allowed me to capture the entire remnant in one go. A manually applied flat has been applied to this image but no dark-frame calibration yet. I have approximately 2hrs of data to calibrate and process before the final version is ready to show and to be honest, after no sleep since 8am yesterday morning - it can wait :? A lovely night last night though with lots of bright meteors winging their way across the skies as well. Kaptain Klevtsov
Excellent image Pete. Saved me the bother of doing it now - just as well as its cloudy. Thats a lot of sky and a lot of stars for one picture, I hope the processing works out well as it looks ace now, the finished article will be spectacular.Kaptain Klevtsov
