Now I'm intrigued Martin. Your image is excellent, as usual, so I've no questions about your imaging, except -

Why oh why do a narrowband image from a dark place? Surely you can do these all night from the town centre, I'd have thought LRGB would be the thing to go for at a Star Party?

I bet I'm missing something here, I just know it.

No you're not missing anything KK. I just wanted to use the NS8 and the AO on Saturday night. The seeing was pretty good as well as the transparency and wanted to do some fairly long focal length stuff. I should have gone for a small galaxy but after doing M31 I just wanted to do some nebs. The Iris neb would have been a much better choice.

As it was the AO was having a hissy fit so I guided conventionally in the end!
