A few years ago I was imaging this and visiting Dutch visual observer Wouter Van Reeven decided to get after in the 20 inch. He's very good, but concluded that just a few wisps were visible here and there. The nebula is abosolutely enormous overall.

This is a good debut for the little scope. You may find that blue stars need a bit of processing but, hey, it's not a big instrument!

I have changed from a 10mm extension down to a 7.5mm and have got a flatter image by 1% that does not make sense.. this spacing thing is getting to be very frustrating.

here is a single sub, ill see how many i can get until the clouds arrive.
