Hi John,I don't know if it's the one I saw but this morning walking to work from rayleigh train station,I sore a big meteor at 5.25am travelling in a SW direction at about 10 degrees elevation.

It was fairly bright and lasted about 4seconds.

I was very exited as it was one of the best I've seen

It has always amazed me that 99% of all meteors we see in the night sky are at a size from a grain of sand (most of them) to a pea. That meteor must have been a spectacular sight to anyone seeing it especially in the daytime. Bet it was brighter than the Sun. Talk about a fireball (bolide) :Envy:
