Kelling M27

Over the weekend i had a chance to image under the renowned dark skies.

100 subs of 40 second stacked in DSS and processed in CS2 with my C8 reduced to f6.3

I was then fortunate enough for a processing masterclass by MartinB (many thanks Martin you are a Imaging God 8) )

This was the result

Very nice Steve, I reckon you must be quite 'chuffed' with that one, and quite rightly so!!

A nice result for your efforts, especially after the brief worry that the camera had died.

The amount of stars is incredible, well done. It makes the mind boggle on how many must be out there.

There's loads of detail in there Steve. The focus is nailed and it was well worth going for a minimum of 1 hour exposure. Processing's no good if the data isn't there and you've got plenty.
