Sweet Looking Clouds!

Hi All,

There's a lot of Broken cloud at my end tonight, so I've not bothered with setting up my scope, but some of the Lunar Halo's and peeks at the moon through broken cloud banks look very cool.

Clouds aint always bad news!

I'm glad you can see the moon...... The last 2 nights have been thick with cloud,  I mean what is it about the uk, blue skies through the day, the night comes and hey presto...

Happens where I live, too. I suspect it's because I live between two of the Great Lakes, and the added moisture in the air (seldom less than 70%) condenses when the sun sets. You're between the Irish Sea and the North Sea, so suffer sadly shortened seeing schedules.

Sorry, dont' know what got into me. Think it's the meds.
