Chocks away DWB-111 The Propeller Nebula

:lol:they do give them some funny names , a very faint nebula in Cygnus, not in the skyscan library, so had to go find this one , very pleased i must say with the result.Just look at all that nebulosity,whoo hoo

So 1 hour 45 mins exposure time , over 100 subs to get this devil, Atik 16hr ,and H-Alpha filter, ED80 with 6.3 reducer,

processed in Maxim DDP at 3%, had enough subs to do this , then finished in Photoshop, and noels actions.

Interesting object, Roger and aptly named as it does look like a WW1 propeller. Nicely imaged too.

Nope, he's not making it up. This is another part of the vast Gamma Cygni gas region. Great image, BTW.

Great image Rog, not gonna ask for colour this time It must have been hard work to get that one, no wonders you're tired. I normally spend 2 hours taking subs of something and I only get about 10% of staff that is worth stacking, other images have star trails.
