Surprised myself - M16

I managed to get a shot of this even though I had convinced myself that buildings and trees were in the way. Quite pleased with this as I've wanted to snap it for ages.

Missed the details - SW 200mm Newt. with the Atik 16HR camera and a Ha filter on a HEQ5 mount on a pier. Guided using a Toucam II looking through a 500mm f/8 T-mount camera lens and K3CCD software.

Excellent KK - a really nice capture. The first time I imaged this was a year back and I shot it through a gap in the trees on the Downs which coincided with a gap in my neighbour's hedge!!!! My image was nowhere near as good as this one - well taken sir!

Really? That's too bad. Here's a link to some nice stuff taken with a lowly ST-237 camera, (the camera I have). About halfway down is one of M16.
