Taken at 4:30 this morning.

Skywatcher 200p

2x stock barlow

Philips 840k flashed to SPC900

2000 frames stacked in Autostakkert

Processed in Registax

This is a composite of two images, one exposed for Jupiter, the other for the moons.

Well done Paul. Thats a good image, especially the way you have processed / combined images to show the planet and moons. You have captured quite a bit of detail and in my opinion you have not over processed it. I know peoples opinions differ, but I think people sometimes over process stuff. Well done.

I will be waiting a while yet before capturing Jupiter - can'tbe up that late.

Very nice with the composition. Might try and do one of those sometime. Look somewhat like what one sees at low magnification.

Now we just need it to be visible at more human times of day :-)
