Western Veil an RGB practice

Recommended Posts

Not used to RGB, but found some old OIII & Sii data & had a practice. O=B. S=G. Ha=R/Ha=L, have to try some colour work.

18/8/12, 7x900, QSI ws, 0.85fr, 7nm ha, SW ED80, and 3x1200 SW120. RGB captured with Atik 314L, ED80. bit of a mish mash!

That's an excellent example of this object Fay - the surrounding nebulosity eludes me in my attempts - you've processed this beautifully.

I particularly like the left of the broom (the top of the handle) you've got an almost 3d quality to it that I first noticed in Carol's award winning shot last year.

I struggle with the background on this as well as mine turns out quite yellow - and when I try to chase it away it destroys the rest of the image :-)
