What's the big blob in Hydrus?

Sorry for asking a stupid question but Prof Google doesn't seem to know. I've been making Cartes du Ciel print-outs for Mato Grosso, Brazil (hols coming up) and there's a large object between alpha and beta Hydrus. I can't find any info on what this thing is. Stellarium has a big milky patch there but doesn't label it. Oddly the Wikipedia entry is silent on the matter.

According to Sky Safari it's NGC292 Small Magellanic Cloud.

Small Magellanic Cloud. Enjoy. I was lucky to see both from Namibia for the first time last year.
