August, 2012 Comets

Not much this month also and bad for U.K. observers since the brightest one is at 9th mag. and very low in the sky at dusk. Mid latitude observers have a better look at this comet since it is higher in the sky.

All the rest are 10th mag. and fainter. Check the link below for further details.

Thanks for the post! Any idea if filters help for comets? like an OIII filter or UHC? Never tried before...
