A heads up for those interested :

On Friday, August 10th, Paul Money's Starnight: Perseid Meteor Shower, Far Ings Nature Reserve, Barton on Humber 8.30pm - 10.30pm

See the shooting stars of the Perseid Meteor Shower and explore the summer Milky Way.

The event consists of an indoor illustrated talk and an opportunity to observe the night sky, stars and planets through a powerful telescope (weather permitting). It will still take place even if the sky is cloudy.

This event is organised by the Lincs Wildlife Trust and Paul Money and is NOT a North Lincs Astro event and does require pre-booking with LWT on the number above. There were still places available when I booked this morning.
