A bit closer in , all the moon images were taken with the Atik 2hs with the IR PASS FILTER AND ALL AT 400 FRAMES ,

nooo i started out like that , but you cant get the results ,, all imaging needs either very long exposures , or a a method we call stacking several hundreds or thousands IMAGES , the most popular Cam is the web cam Toucam pro 2 , which allows you to take several thousands of images and stack them , thus reducing the noise levels in the final image , also it allows you to pick the best frames , several cameras can do this , i use a modded web cam that does long exposures as well , this i use for DSOs but i also find it is fantastic for imaging the Moon , have a look at my web site www.rwnewastro.co.uk all the images there are taken with this camera
