Statcking Software

It depends on the type of imaging. For Lunar / Planetary imaging with a webcam either Registax or Avistacker. For Imaging deep sky objects (galaxies, nebulae etc) using a dslr or dedicated imaging camera use DSS. The learning curve for all three is fairly steep and the programs will look a bit daunting at first but once you've processed a few images you should get the hang of it.

Registax and Avistack are for stacking webcam video's in .avi format. Deep Sky Stacker is for stacking long exposure camera images (DSLR or Astro camera type) along with their associated darks and flats etc.
