Any chance that the retailers that may be present, I assume that there are some in attendance, can be supplied ?

Either here or better on the NLO Astronomy Fair web page.

Would be useful to know if any will be there to enable purchases.

I will get the list and put it both here and on the website.

Two I do know of are FLO and widescreen centre.

14 days to go now. Hope the rain happens next week and it is clear on the 11th.

Lecture tickets are selling but there are still some left for those of you who want to wait till the day to buy tickets.

As well as the main tent with all the trade stands there will be a bring and buy stall again in the catering tent. Bring your goods labled up with a price and either a place people can find you to buy it or a time you will be back to meet those interested.

Look forward to seeing lots of you there, I will be hidden in the imagers tent where I will be selling postcards, T shirts and talking about our individual set ups, do come and visit me I can't talk to myself all day.

But many of us do exactly that. :Envy::eek::Envy::eek::Envy:

What does talking to your scope count as ?

What does talking to cloud count as, or the wind when it bumps your image?

Some times you get the best answers when you talk to yourself, although it is nice to chat to others as well.

Five days To go.

Have just finished painting all the benches a nice green shade ( which means I'm also green) and it has started to rain.

Food marquee going up, and then the imagers marquee, the black tent is new for this year and will be used by weather satelite imagers and the solar imagers.

Food marque sounds good. :icescream:

Has Kate (Rev) painted it green?

Why do solar imagers need a tent?

Surely they should be outside in the sun looking at it, not in a tent hiding from it.

No they get too hot outside so tent is there for keeping cool, plus the weather satilite tracking will be in there.

Only benches are green, tents whte.

(Confusingly rev and nlo are the same person!! so I painted the benches and so did the rev)

Today's the day, and we've had 20 mile an hour winds over night. Lost one tent and campers were all up by 5 am to rescue 3 others.
