astro weather forecast

Hi folks i was just wondering if there is a good weather website out there that is dedicated to us stargazers giving for example, cloud cover, seeing predictions etc. Also i would like to embed something on to my website regarding the weather, any recommendations?

bbc and met office websites have great info, very usefull. You can pick what the map displays (ie cloud cover)

I tend to use meteoblue and 7timer as have already been posted, but then nothing beats http://www.sat24.com/en/gb for looking at which way the gaps in the clouds are travelling on the day.

I have found Accuweather UK seems to be among the most accurate with hourly predictions if you are looking at observing that day.

Agree with Jim-a. I use sat24 more than anything else. Switching between the views for the UK and Europe can give you a fair idea of what's coming our way.

Are you hoping to find one that says we have clear skies coming? I've tried, they all say cloud and rain

I tend to use the usual ones, Meteoblue, Metoffice, BBC, Sat24, Metcheck. And then piece together all their differing forecasts to get an actual working forecast.

For a (very) local forecast try http://www.wunderground.com This depends on weather stations located on roofs and schools - so it is local, live and accurate, with a very good forecast accuracy.

The 7time website (http://7timer.y234.cn/) that olander08 pointed out is a great resource, and it feeds the Astropanel app that shibby made for Android phones - which quite frankly is just awesome!
