Mars this morning (27.08.07)

Had a go at Mars. It's still tiny disk so I blasted as much magnification as I could :D 4 x imagemate with 2x barlow and toucam with ir-cut filter. 500 best out of 2900 frames stacked in registax and small adjustments were made in PS (curves, saturation, cropping).

Still got some avis so if I get something better I'll post.

Was looking at Mars last night and there was not a lot to see. An excellent result there. Well done

You did well getting that much detail from a disk that's only a little larger than Uranus :D And not surprised you had to double up barlows.

Mars should be cracking towards the end of the year.

Just waiting to have a go at it with the C14 But i will leave it until Kielder and hope to get a good view then. :D
