IC1396 - Wide Field- 350D- er a bit faint this one

Recommended Posts

Did not realise how faint this object is. Probably needs a couple of hours with my setup.

130mm APO at F4.8 , 25 X 3mins at 800 ISO , 350D

If it is IC1396 John, then acccording to 'The Sky 6', its Mag 3.5

90x90 and part of the Milky Way.

Whatever, you have captured a lot of detail in there, and 'framed' it very nicely too.

All in all, a very pleasing image.

Well done!

Dave

Yep , it does say mag 3.5 but it also states it is very faint. Must the area its spread over.

C'mon John, you gotta be pleased with that 8)

OK then , I am pleased with the end result. :D

I was not sure what to expect ( with a modded 350D ) as images of this area seem to look different.
