Bit of NGC6992

Had a bit of a pants night last night .for some reason maxim would not calibrate for guidding.

by the time I got it sorted and started imaging it was gone 1am. :D

NGC6992 with the 10" newt.

14 @ 10 mins in Ha.

Guiding problem or not Mike, that is one very nice image. Beautiful 'wispy' detail.

Well I am pleased you persevered and finally got this shot. It is a splendid effort. Lots of tenuous looking wisps of nebulosity there.

I have indeed, and having looked it up I can see which bit it is. Still going to have a go at it this year.
