Green and blue solar flashes

Tonight it was incredibly clear and fine weather so I went out to photograph the sunset. This resulted in a number of pictures that showed solar flashes, both green and blue. The time interval between the first and last frames is 1 minute and 14 seconds.

Awsome! I saw the "Green Flash" in the Indian Ocean last year! I was with Dr. Francisco Diego of the RAS and he told me about this phenomenon and then we actually observed it.

That is fantastic! The BEST illustration of what conditions to watch for with the clarity of the sky to have a chance to see the FLASH!! I am still on the lookout!
